Make Small Lavender Eye Pillows as Holidays Gifts

Lavender is great for soothing away tired eyes… and the dark circles that comes with stress. Remember lavender is sedative, soothing, relaxing, and also helps relax the GI tract and sooth away gastric distress, headaches, anxiety, and even insomnia.

All you have to do is sew together 3”x3” pieces of cotton cloth (use cloth that is festive looking and makes you feel good). Sew two squares of the cloth together and just before you sew the last side, fill the small pillow with small glass beads or very small pebbles (you can find these at crafts shops)… then sew the final end of the pillow.

Now spray the outside of the little pillow with a mixture of water and lavender oil.

Next microwave on low for the shortest time possible… just long enough to warm the pillow.

Put on some relaxing music, lay down and place one pillow over each eye, now you are ready for a soothing hour of healing.

For gifts put 2 pillows in each box with a small spray bottle of lavender oil and water, and instructions on how to use the eye pillows.

You might also include some relaxing music or a guided meditation that will help your friend sooth away stress, and you could also add some lavender oil that your friend could use in their bath.

Add some wrapping paper and a bow… and your Holiday Gift is Ready!
