David Wilcock – Wisdom Teachings
It appears that ET humans were heavily involved with cultures on earth up until the time following the foundation of Islam, beginning in or around 800 AD. In the ensuing 1200 years, our extended family has remained behind-the-scenes, helping us without formally and openly acknowledging their presence. This gives each of us the opportunity to make spiritual growth without having all the answers spelled out for us. If it were common knowledge that we are not alone, and that the universe is One, we might end up going through the motions, like fundamentalist cult members, without really making the deeper spiritual strides of honesty, self-reflection and compassion for others. Being kept in the darkness for a given period of time gives all of us the opportunity to decide who we really are, and what we really believe.
Christopher: The breadth of knowledge you have shared through both Wisdom Teachings and across your career is amazing. How did you get started down this path? What sparked your interest?
David: I grew up in a very liberal, academic family in upstate New York, with my mother working as a music teacher and performer and my father working as a music journalist, writing about rock and roll bands. I was never taught racism or prejudice and didn’t really understand how much of a factor it was in our society until I got into college, and especially after I graduated and moved to the south – first to Virginia for five years and then to Kentucky for three years before ending up in Los Angeles.
