Coca-Cola portrays the reality of parenthood in a 1-minute commercial

Coca-Cola looks to reinvent itself with a new interpretation of its classic product:  more conscious Coca-Cola product.

In or day and age where commercial advertisement are evolving into a fine art of entertainment, a new breed of advertisement’s models have been born.  The new model thrive introducing new ways of affirming costumer’s loyalty, through humor and identification through common experiences and human expectations.

The giant multinational Company Coca-Cola, investing in a more conscious line of products, introduced in Argentina a new version of its product: Coca-Cola LIFE.

In this new product, Coca-Cola is designing to ride the wave of natural and organically correct products as the general consumers are growing more aware of the side effects of chemical on our bodies.

Coca-Cola LIFE is supposed to be healthier, with lower content of sugar and naturally sweetened by Stevia.

Although this commercial does not carry openly the message of a more organic way of living and continuing enjoying one of consumer’s biggest addictions, the advertisement message tries to capture the attention of the audience through a more subtle approach, through the human experiences of Identification.  Who cannot relay to the experience of a young couple with a potential for developing a family, and all the growing pains related of this life passage.

Santo, the Argentinian advertisement company, the maker of this commercial, preferred instead to insert the product into a cozy, hip and green atmosphere to portray the sweet adventures of a young couple (certainly around the 70’s) through the arrival of their first rugrat, the destroyer of peace.



The general concept is far from new, but it is guarantee to bring smiles and a sense of nostalgia for those that have visited this place in life. Kudos for the exceptionally beautiful work of photography, and the Art Direction.

The music is “To Love Somebody” from the group Bee Gees, which was also used many times by other advertisement campaigns, but no doubt to give the proper ambiance to represent not only an era but a new lifestyle trend.
