Numerology and the Next Step in the Evolution of Consciousness

Can Numerology numbers really help explain consciousness and give us a hint on what the next step in our evolution is? We all have heard about Pythagoras and his contribution to science. However, not many people know that Pythagoras was a philosopher, mystic and the forefather of Numerology. He was one of the first known ancient scientists who introduced the concept of harmony of spheres. Pythagoras even developed the whole metaphysical system based on his discoveries. According to Pythagoras teachings, everything in Universe is in balance – everything and everyone is playing their unique and important part in one great vibrational chorus.

Many Pythagoras theories later became the foundation for the Numerology as we know it today and gave deep meaning to numbers. He was one of the first spiritual scientists who connected the cosmic music of vibrations with Numerology. Pythagoras established that the symbols behind Numerology numbers lie in the foundation of all that exists in the Universe. Everything in the world, living and non-living, men and women follow the laws of vibrations and can be described in numerology numbers.

Here is one of the ways that evolution of consciousness can be described through the meaning of Numerology numbers. The symbolism is as follows: horizontal lines represent attachment, curved lines represent the energy of love and the lines that cross each other represent the challenge of making a choice.

Numerology and Consciousness

Numerology of #1 (vertical line) – Symbolizing the beginning, it connects the heavens and the Earth through one straight vertical line – no attachment, no love and no choice. It is just there. We all are one higher consciousness.

Numerology of #2 – Representing flora – the world of plants, life begins to evolve and grow. Horizontal line at the bottom of the number indicates the fact that plants are attached to Earth (material plane) and can’t move. The curved line on the top shows us that plants are directed toward heavens (the light). Plants are attached to Earth, but love the sky and sun.

Numerology of #3 – Signifying fauna – the world of animals, one can see two curved lines in the number. Animals love heavens and Earth. They are attached to neither and can move anywhere they please. Animals don’t have strict attachments. The life of an animal is torn apart between fear and desire.

Numerology of #4 – Characterizing human beings, the number has two lines crossing each other in the middle. Human life is a constant challenge of making the choice between good and evil. This number represents consciousness that is between the animal instincts and the next step of human evolution – the enlightened being.

Numerology of #5 – Embodying the enlightened human, the horizontal line on the top symbolizes that the enlightened human is attached to heavens (the Spirit). The bottom curved line shows that he or she has love towards the Earth.

Numerology of #6 – Representing an Angel, if we look at the number 6, we can see the spiraling line coming down from heavens towards Earth. Angels are not attached to anything and they mainly represent the energy of love.

Numerology of #7 – Exemplifying the creative essence of the Divine, we can see the line on the top that is attached to heavens (the spiritual world) and the line that connects heavens and Earth at a certain angle. The line with the angle stands for an intuitive channel that humans can use in their creativity.

Numerology of #8 – Symbolizing Divine Power as well as the symbol for Infinity, the everlasting curved line connects the heavens (spiritual world) with Earth (the material world). This number also shows that Divine Power is Infinite.

Numerology of #9 – Signifying the wisdom of higher consciousness, the curved line is moving towards heavens after its experience on Earth. The earth experience gives wisdom and allows us to move to the next level of higher consciousness.
