Eileen Day McKusick is a researcher, writer, educator and practitioner who has been studying the effects of audible sound on the human body since 1996. She is the originator of Biofield Tuning (formerly called Sound Balancing), a unique therapeutic method utilizing tuning forks, founder of the Biofield Tuning Institute (Burlington VT) and the author of Tuning the Human Biofield: Healing with Vibrational Sound Therapy (Healing Arts Press, 2014). An experienced teacher and speaker, her extensive research into the field of therapeutic sound spans both the alternative and academic realms. She maintains a sound therapy practice in Vermont, where she treats clients with both in-person and distance sessions, and teaches Sound Healing at Johnson State College in Vermont.
