Sarah Maria

Sarah Maria is a body-image expert who helps people love their bodies no matter how they look. She shows people how to discover the beauty that is already inside of them, right now, in this moment. Once they connect with this beauty, they will discover that anything is possible. They no longer need to live in a world of not feeling beautiful enough, thin enough, tall enough, young enough, firm enough, or strong enough. Instead, they can experience their true radiance, their true beauty, and their true greatness. Once people make this shift, they will discover that they can create a body and a life that they truly love.

Sarah Maria’s mission is to create a world where every person sees this beauty in themselves and in others. In her book, Love Your Body, Love Your Life she outlines a five-step process designed to help people break free from Negative Body Obsession and discover the beauty that they already have inside of them.

She has trained with well-known spiritual teachers and physicians, including Deepak Chopra, Dr. David Simon, co-founder of the Chopra Center for Well-being in Carlsbad, CA, Wayne Dyer, and Jack Canfield, among others. She is a Chopra-Center Certified Meditation instructor and an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor.

Her book has received support and acclaim from well-known teachers, physicians, psychologists, and educators, including Deepak Chopra, Dr. David Simon, Marci Shimoff, New York Times best-selling author and featured teacher in The Secret, and many others.

In addition to her extensive training in health, personal growth, and spirituality, Sarah Maria has a long and remarkable academic career. Before writing her first book, she received a law degree from Stanford University and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. She lived and worked in Latin America, focusing on economic development through small business assistance.

Her academic successes also include skipping two grades and beginning college at New York University at the ripe old age of 16, later graduating Summa Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University at 20 years old, winning first place in college-level writing competitions, receiving numerous prestigious and competitive awards, including a stipend to study Portuguese as her third language (she also speaks Spanish), and earning a fellowship from the United States government to fund her development work in Latin America.

Although she is proud of her many accomplishments, everything pales in comparison to her current passion for helping people to heal and discover their greatness within.
