Everyone has experience with the kind of person we are talking about: one who disapproves of us, constantly criticizes, projects their own insecurities and looks to constantly drag us down. For some, this is a boss or work associate, for others a spouse or romantic partner, for others a family member.<\/p>\n<p>In my case, this person was my own mother. If you find yourself locked in a relationship with a toxic and emotionally stultifying person, you will want to tune in this week as I share honestly and directly about my own experience.<\/p>\n<p>There are many resources about conflict resolution in the world, and many techniques and strategies available. Ultimately, handling a persistently damaging person requires a firm decision on our part to stand up for ourselves. This can be a painful and difficult decision to make. For me, it took years and quite a lot of suffering. It can be done, however, firmly and definitively. If you have done this you will know. If you haven\u2019t and you would like to, this will be a show not to miss!<\/p>\n<p>On the show I will share in detail what I did to create the emotional space for myself to live my own life. This simple decision, while not easy to come to, eventually changed everything.<\/p>\n<p>You will find that creating this space involves the painful first decision to create it. Once that is made, however, freedom pours in, and pours in quickly.
