The Podcast, whose goal is to shine a new light on mental health and the many things that influence it.<\/p>\n<p>Mental health has become one of the hottest topics of our era. We all have mental health, just as we all have physical and emotional health, and, just as we all struggle to stay in shape and manage our emotions at times, so, too, do we all face times when our mental health is affected by circumstances beyond our control. The events of this year being the perfect case in point.<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca Schaper is an author, film-maker, philanthropist, and mental health advocate. This week, Rebecca Schaper shares her family story, which is chronicled in her award-winning documentary \u201cA Sister\u2019s Call,\u201d and her book The <em>Light in His Soul \u2013 Lessons from my Brother\u2019s Schizophreni<\/em>a. Both of which have been hailed as essential for anyone who dares to see the miraculous gift that life presents us in our struggles, obstacles, and most difficult moments. It is a story that takes us on a journey through pain, sadness and suffering.
