Another way of putting it is, \u201cHow good are we at getting along with people?\u201d Not just friends and family, but people in general. Our success in connecting with people in the broader sense\u2014acquaintances and strangers\u2014has important implications for our social, emotional, and spiritual growth. It\u2019s this growth that allows us to experience peace and love for all people, regardless of their background. Something, many people have trouble doing, which is having a harmful impact on the quality of their lives. Failure to cultivate this growth often sets the stage for mental health, marital, sexual, D&amp;A, legal, and work adjustment difficulties. Unfortunately, for those experiencing lower or higher ego power, flexibility, and vulnerability, there are lots of \u2018getting along with people\u2019 issues, rooted in these ego energies, where they have become entrapped in thought, emotional, and behavior patterns, in which they are spending more time surviving in society rather than truly living.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, for those with higher ego power, they aren\u2019t very interested in listening to people, particularly those with different ideas and viewpoints. Something they find to be disempowering, as listening invites someone else influencing what they want to think. They often think they\u2019re the smartest person in the room and more entitled to express their opinions than others are, which rubs people the wrong way. Their sense of entitlement often makes them feel justified in attacking others, either openly or covertly, and they could care less about the repercussions of these attacks. When it comes to relationships, it\u2019s all about them. Building a relationship for them, involves finding people they can control, which feeds their needs for over-empowerment. Roles they may find their way into living, until they awaken to their ego energy, include the Dictator, the Narcissist, and the Bully.<\/p>\n<p>During the show I\u2019ll be looking at symptoms, reflections of ego stupidity, and the impact on spiritual wellness which occurs when a person is being affected by higher ego power energy in their ability to interact with people in healthy ways.
