But sometimes we don\u2019t feel free when we forgive.<\/p>\n<p>We may wonder why, after offering or receiving forgiveness, that we\u2019re not at peace. Why haven\u2019t we been released from the pain and hurt?<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t blame yourself. What\u2019s happening is that the forgiveness you were able to give or receive at the time was partial forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p>How do you know if your forgiveness is partial?<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 It releases you from most of your resentment and blame.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 You can stop telling the \u201cpoor me\u201d story.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 But you may seek validation because you\u2019re not fully at peace.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 It decreases the emotional charge associated with what you\u2019re forgiving.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 But you can still get triggered by reminders of what happened or recalling the details of the drama.<\/p>\n<p>Only full forgiveness gives us access to the unwounded place inside us, where there is no emotional hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Partial forgiveness is good. Yet full forgiveness adds much more:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 You can see the person you forgive or be reminded of what happened with no negative emotional charge.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Your story about what happened naturally rewrites itself to a story about finding freedom.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 You can access your full light, which had been dimmed by unforgiveness.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 You discover more clearly the truth of who you are and live that truth more fully in your life.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Berry and Noemi Grace invite you to join them as they share how we can move from partial forgiveness to full forgiveness.
