Diamond is a student of astrology and other occult subjects, a practicing astrologer and a writer. She writes New and Full Moon essays for the on-line Daykeeper Journal and book reviews for the Facingnorth.net website and for astrological publications. For her day job, she works as an attorney. In the 1980s and 1990s, she was a political sociologist and investigative journalist and published four books about right-wing political movements in the United States.
