I believe the reason astrology exists is to shed light on misinterpreted phenomena and enlighten individuals to their inner dispositions. It’s critical for people to understand why something is happening in a particular situation because it strengthens the soul.
Twin Flames are a valuable phenomenon that brings fundamental change to the way we see the world in not solely an esoteric view, but also in scientific one as well.

pente*) How We Can Find If Two Persons Are Twin Flames
An astrologer usually has a difficult time answering if two persons are each other’s twin flame because the basic instruments are not helpful. Longitudinal charts as we know them are not very helpful if we don’t know some other important techniques.
First of all, we have to understand that according to what we’ve discussed, a twin flame is the other half of the soul when is splits entering the human kingdom through Geminian influences. This means our soul splits into opposites and we have to find our other half.
In astrology, we are full of opposites; the chart itself is built through opposites. Aries and Libra, Taurus and Scorpio, Gemini and Sagittarius, Cancer and Capricorn, Leo and Aquarius, Virgo and Pisces. All of these are polarities that work among themselves. It is very important when we try to find our twin soul to share opposing planets with the other person. Astrologers and people usually try to avoid opposition because medieval thought used to believe it was a bad aspect. In fact, oppositions between two charts may create some conflicts, but they are very important when you want to have a relationship that really contributes to individuals.
Planets in opposition between two charts are very important when we try to trigger the twin flame relationship. We have to be very careful because we don’t just want the planets to be in opposition but also in contra-parallel. Only when two planets are in opposition and in contra-parallel can we talk about the possibility of a twin flame relationship.
The first criterion is opposition. The other criterion is a very important concept we call “Antiscia.” The degree when the planet has equal day-time is called antiscia. For example, the antiscia of a planet in 21o of Taurus is 09o of Leo.
But according to theory twin flames are not based on similarity, so antiscia is not, in reality, the real point we look for because a person that has a lot of planets in our antiscia points has similarities with us, not oppositions.
The point that is in opposition with Antiscia is Contra-Antiscia. So a person with his planet in 21o Taurus has his contra-antiscia point in 9o of Aquarius. So when a person has a lot of planets in our contra-antiscia points this means that he is probably a twin flame for us.
At this point, we have to combine both techniques. We have to see if any planets are in opposition and contra-parallel at the same time but also to find if there are any connections with each other’s contra-antiscia points.
Of course, there are other secondary things an astrologer should look at. First of all, we have to look at whether or not the person of interest has planets in the water houses (fourth, eighth and twelfth). Although the fourth house sometimes can give us information about whether or not the person found his “father” or “mother” and not his twin flame, for this reason, we have to be careful with the interpretation. The reverse is also very important. If we have planets in the other person’s water houses then we increase the probability of a twin flame relationship.
Secondly, we have to see if there are planets of the person who form aspects with our retrograde planets, especially Venus. A lot of people with Venus retrograde have a high probability to meet their twin flame. Retrograde planets may sometimes be identified with karma but in fact, if the theory of twin flames exists, then every time there is an incarnation, every time our soul happens to split our karma partners may be our twin flame.
The last thing we have to look at is in the Composite chart (the chart where we combine the two persons’ natal charts) is if our twelfth and first houses have lots of planets. The most important thing is if there is a spark. As we said before there has to be a spark, a light between two people, a flame of passion, love, and understanding that they have never felt before. Combining the emotions of the couple and the astrological influences we can easily understand if that is a twin flame relationship or not.

Modern psychology believes that human beings in a century of depression and loneliness try to find ways to believe in what they have lost. People usually don’t communicate anymore and they are alone. Relationships usually are short, do not involve intense emotions, and neither individuals gets what they want. People suffer from low self-worth, people who had destructive relations in the past and people with extreme romanticism as a way of living, try to anchor themselves from a lie. For modern psychology, the concept of the twin flame is a lie, a hope. A person needs to find another person to stand in his life. Usually, persons that need so much to belong to another person, create this illusion because of their weakness.
But if this is really a delusion does it matter?
People who believe in God are statistically proven to handle disease, anxiety, depression and other bad feelings better. People who believe have increased probabilities to succeed in their targets. Faith for people is something that can move even mountains. No matter if the twin flame relationship really exists, for modern science it is important because it is people who believe and belong to the relationship make it real.
If two persons believe, then it is assuredly true; the difference between reality and illusion is always between behavior and actions on one side and theory on the other. I have seen twin flame couples who fascinated me with their deep devotion and understanding. Their relationship is a miracle especially in communication when they do not have the need to speak with words to understand each other and speak with their eyes.

The soul is a fundamental part of humanity. Ignore the soul’s needs and you are going to get lost. From extreme science to extreme metaphysics the key to happiness is always to find the balance between us and other people. Finding your soul-mate may be a little difficult, especially on a planet of seven billion. But even if you do not manage to find it, don’t forget that having any other kind of romantic affair is equally important. Sometimes fate needs us to learn from other people and not from our inner oppositions.
By searching for your twin flame, do not lose your inner love for every aspect of this life and do not lose thousands of beautiful love experiences. While twin flame is the triumph of uniqueness with another person, having a relationship with any other person on this planet is also very fascinating and generates a big and long path of wisdom and happiness. Don’t forget that the most important thing is not if the relationship we have is a twin flame but if it has the flame to make us different and better. Love is the ultimate weapon of spiritual alchemists, through love you can change a simple relationship to a golden union, the sacred union that we will talk about in another article.

I am a Taurean and I suspect my twin flame is a Sagittarius. I am a Taurus with a Virgo moon and he is a Sagittarius with a Taurus moon. Our natal charts align almost perfectly but they say despite the similarities we will never work. We used to discuss being connected somehow through the cosmos and this was no trippy come on lol. The moment we met I started shaking. And there was no expectation of anything beyond the setting of the encounter.
I was not look nor expecting it and we felt like old friends. There is no sense of permanance, yet I feel he will always be there, if that makes sense, and we can never be together in a traditional sense because we come from two different cultures with different expectations and traditions.
I am just trying to make sense of it all.
Firstly your soul has nothing to do with astrology. Your soul is pure love energy & infinite intelligence & creation. Your ‘sign’ is all about your ego self, your personality and the most accurate aspect of your chart is the north node, followed by the sun sign.
Most people do not meet their twin flame in their current life as their twin flame is mostly always on the other side.
i dont know, i fell in love with the holy ghost, then i saw sightings in the sky. experienced spiritual stuff, i searched for answers, i came across Edwin Villa online…he recognised me in the spirit but i recognized him in my heart…he wrote spirit to spirit and i wrote peace although i felt and ment love because i had to say peace. it was the ethical thing to do, as he was in a relationship and i was married. then i began to experience spiritual gifts and saw 5d earth……i was hospitalized in a psych ward and since then…….. twin flames?!?!! very real…i didnt knowanything about my experiences but slowly im getting answers and i have peace about it. i havent physically met him, but i carry him close to heart and i remember his words as if the very word of god.
Sorry, but astrology cannot determine who are twin flames and who are not. I wish you astrology nuts would stay out of spiritual subjects. Because the physical(planets) have nothing to do with the soul. Only the physical personality. For example “This means our soul splits into opposites ” NOOOOOPE wrong. They call them TWIN souls for a innate reason.
YES! Thank you! Astrology nuts always think that they have the ability to see the destiny of the souls or what makes people twin flames or soul mates. This is why I think they should stay out of these particular subjects because they tend to be egotistic jerks who have no KNOWLEDGE of spirituality.

I think because astrology only can determine the ‘ego’ not the spiritual aspect. Astrology has nothing to do with determines who are twin flames nor soul mates.

I admit I am not familiar and I even express I was trying to gain understanding. I even said our sign our nowhere near compatible so I was trying to make sense of it all so, in that, I thank you for pointing that out. Astrology was the first place I went to then I sought knowledge through other means.
I even sought help from the dream workers, the Mystery School, light workers, yoginis, etc so I very much aware of spirituality even though I admit there is much everyone can learn.
I also learned there is no hard and fast rule to twin flames, soul ties, soulmates, light workers, yoginis etc lol. I was, at the time searching for explanation to something that was serendipitous and this seemed to fit the criteria at the time and still does, even though we are separated by geography and culture and other external factors.
But for now, I am just fortunate to have such a wonderful experience and living in the present. I was celebrating a very unique experience that is still very much a part of me and has encouraged me to do more spiritual work, grow and help others.
But you sound offensive and condescending towards someone who no longer exist. I am much further on my journey than I was yesterday.
Twin souls “do not split” they are two wholes of the same unit. This is how it was explained to me. I never said that in my original post. Again there are different authorities on this matter, so again, pick your poison.
I also never said astrology was a determining factor. I said at the time I sought out Astrology, at first, to explain a strange occurence
Right now you are simply going on a diatribe against Astrology and that is fine. But you are missing the opportunity to teach because your language is highly inflammatory, instead of rejoicing in the fact that more and more people are searching for a higher plane of understanding, and with your KNOWLEDGE help people understand instead of chastising them. Would twin flames have to be the same age?
BubzLife Starlight I agree with you. I think that Twin Souls can be the same star sign and even share the same birthday…….although I do believe that Twin Souls have an age gap because I believe that one Twin comes to the Earth dimension first and is then joined some years later by his or her Twin. I believe that this can be a 2, 3 or 4 year gap or a 60 year gap! With Twin Souls, age, like star signs, is an irrelevance. Lorraine

Bubz when you read a few books and intensely study astrology for many years I might consider your opinion as valid, but I can tell you have not.

Agreed. My twin and I have incarnated together I am Aquarius-Pisces cusp and he is Leo-Virgo cusp. On the day of the cusp both of us (18/2 and 23/8) also. In our relationship this is where our lessons in surrender and ego come up particularly in conflict. If you do you research, you will find that astrology absolutely does have twin flame idicators but in addition to that there must be several other bonafide indicators that can only be identified once sexual energy transfer has taken place. If you didn’t have sex outside of your physical bodies while you were merging physically, the are not your twin. Oversoul merge is the big red flag here that is what led us down the path of researching what twins were (we hadn’t heard of them before this) further to this TF’s primary function isn’t about romance it’s about the mission which becomes clear when you merge. What a ride to say the least lol x
