Blending Essential Oils and Crystals to Enhance Their Effectiveness
Essential oils are the substance that naturally occurs in a variety of plants, which grow all over the world. Each oil produced from nature’s bounty has a therapeutic “signature” or properties that make them unique. The oils of each plant, tree or fruit, is its essence, or essential oil and can be utilized in many healing capacities. Essential oils have been traded and sold for their mental, spiritual, and physical benefits, and have been popular in every country.
Similarly, crystals or crystalline structures are solid material whose constituents are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a structure or lattice that extends in all directions. Crystals give us information about the structure of compounds and how science understands the functionality of molecules. They have also been revered over the centuries for their metaphysical healing benefits. For thousands of years, cultures worldwide have used crystals for healing.
When used together, two of nature’s most powerful tools can produce amazing results! Below you will find an array of wonderfully “scent-ful” essential oils that can blend beautifully with genuine crystals, creating a vibrationally compatible essential oil/crystal combination. They are fantastic for meditation and relaxing, as an energetic Chakra regulator, or to help balance your Aura. Use these as a perfect perfume blend or simply as a “refresher” for your mind, body, and spirit!
Massage the crystal/oil elixir into the pulse points of the wrist, neck, tops of feet, or behind the ears. Anoint your healing tools such as crystals, candles, grids, or your altar. Roll on a little oil into the Third Eye, onto the corners of your yoga mat, massage or reiki table. Use these blends in a diffuser or oil burner or spray them around the room to clear and brighten any space. Use these stone/oil mixtures to cleanse your gemstones, bless your sacred statues, christen your intention jewelry, or apply anywhere that needs a little healing.
Instructions for blends:
- Use tumbled stones only.
- Add 1-3 stones to dark amber or dark blue bottle.
- Add the oils listed to the bottle.
- Blend in 2 to 4 ounces of carrier oil (jojoba, safflower, sunflower…) or water for a spray bottle blend.
Chakra Healing
This is created by blending 7 Stones (consider red jasper, orange carnelian, yellow citrine, green aventurine, blue howlite, indigo dumetorite, violet amethyst)
Blend with 13 drops Lavender, 7 drops Jasmine
Amethyst Oil
This does a beautiful Meditation/Psychic Awareness blend. It is also wonderful for peaceful sleep and one of the best blends for addiction.
Blend with 13 drops Lavender, 7 drops Sandalwood
Aventurine Oil
This stone is famous for the Emotional Healing/Good Luck blend. This mix is also used for bringing money intentions, overall healing, and emotional heart healing.
Blend 15 drops Peppermint, 5 drops Rosemary
Blue Topaz Oil
This beautiful stone is used for Harmony/Balance. Blue is a cooling and calming color. This crystal works to calm restless nerves, soothe stressful tension, and release manic thinking.
Blend 11 drops Clary Sage, 9 drops Lavender
Carnelian Oil
