Healing Hypothyroidism Naturally

A Vegan Approach to Healing Hypothyroidism Naturally

Many people who have hypothyroidism have an autoimmune response going on that causes their thyroid symptoms and other symptoms as well.

This comes about because of eating sugar, refined carbs, artificial chemicals, wheat, spelt, barley, GMO products, lots of cooked food, not enough B vitamins, and other inflammatory foods, stress, and more.

If you search the web you will find people who have become raw whole foods/plant based vegans who’ve had all of their diseases disappear… including their hypothyroidism and other thyroid problems.

At the same time you will start to lose weight, have more energy, and feel good about life.

We have gotten so far away from natural as we can get… we have to make our way back to balance.

Here is my recommendation for getting rid of your hypothyroidism and other thyroid problems:

 

Natural Ways to Heal Hypothyroidism

First of all you need to drink a lot of water – at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day.

I recommend at least 1/2 liter in the morning and 1/2 liter in the afternoon or more.

Drink Reverse Osmosis Water – You can buy these machines at any home repair centers for very little money, it’s the best water. Even kidney doctors recommend this water for their patients. This is what we drink at home – our water is polluted and has lots of toxins in it – so please buy this device and filter your water.

Drink alkalising juices everyday – use any other kind of green leafy veggie you can find.

Take 3,000 mgs of Chlorella per day. – you can buy this in 1,000 mg tablets – it is a green algae that has over 60 different nutrients in it and it will do your body good – Powerful



Get up at 6 AM – Go to be at 10 PM. – you need to reset your circadian rhythms – you have two little cells that flash on and off per second in every organ of your body and your heart and they know when you should be sleeping and should be up. – If you go against this way of living you shorten your life span.

First thing in the morning after going to the bathroom – sit down and concentrate on your breathing – breathing in and out, if a thought comes in, say – I will get to that later and go back to your breathing.

Do this for 30 Minutes – this gives the mind/body a rest. Even during sleep your mind is not resting – this turns it off for a little while – it takes practice and surrender to the process.

Meditate for 30 minutes first thing in the Morning and about 5 PM in the afternoon for 30 Minutes. – It will do your body good.

Breakfast – Have breakfast in the morning with 1 1/2 cups of fruit – and 1/2 cup of almond

milk or nut milk of any kind… and 1/2 cup of raw flattened oatmeal – rolled oats. Good old old fashioned Quaker Oats – but don’t cook it – just plain and use agave nectar, honey, or stevia.

Use any kinds of fruits you want – papaya, apples, mangos, berries, strawberries, whatever makes your heart sing – all RAW… and the more different colors you have the better.

Have a green salad for lunch with lots of veggies, all RAW. – Cooked food is seen by the body as an invader so you want to eat at least 90 to 100% raw foods and the more the better – It’s healing. Make dressings from other raw fruits and veggies that you blend and add a little vinegar.

Have lots of different colored foods in your salad, red, yellow, green, purple, all the colours of the rainbow in your beautiful salad, because it’s healing – colored veggies are full of antioxidants that are powerful healing agents.



Between meals eat carrot sticks, celery, another other veggie and fruit of any kind as snacks – should have 3 raw snacks a day.

For dinner have a raw salad. Also add 4 cups of sprouted beans of your choice like pink beans, garbanzos, lentils, all of the beans are great.

Don’t use canned foods, cook the beans yourself, canned foods are toxic, there are lots of chemicals in linings of cans.

If you want something sweet once in a while have some Sorbet – take frozen bananas and any other kind of fruit and blend them in a powerful blender and you have a great sorbet – great tasting.

Add Maca Root Powder to your diet… a teaspoon up to two teaspoons a day for balancing your hormones and giving you energy, also add kelp or bladderwrack powder which are full of great iodine.

Eat safe sources of seaweed, seaweed also has nutrients for the thyroid.

Take a B-Vitamin Supplement and make sure you get lots of B-12 by taking an extra B-12 supplement.

 

Items to Remove from your Life for Naturally Treating Hypothyroidism

Remove goitrogen type foods from your diet, they might cause problems… but not everyone has problems with these foods.

No plastics as much as possible, there is a very strong link between hormones created by plastics that cause thyroid problems.

Use natural cotton clothing, use glass and ceramic food storage items… use anything natural. I have seen plates made of rice straw… very nice.

Also no meat, no chicken, no fish, no seafood, no eggs, no cheese, no milk, no added oils, no canned foods, no artificial flavors, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial anything, no chemicals of any kind, if you don’t know what it is don’t eat it.

No alcohol, no highly spiced food, and use very little salt, no fast food, no processed food, if in doubt don’t eat it.

Other tips for healing Healing Hypothyroidism Naturally

Eat organic if at all possible – that is the best.

If you want protein eat Sprouted Beans, Raw Nuts, Raw Seeds, – All organic.

You only need 5 or 6 % protein and that is exactly what you get on this diet.

Exercise every day by walking, work up to 5 miles a day, and if it is hot walk in the mall where it’s cool, or swim – work up to 5 miles swimming.

Or you could bike ride or any other exercise.

Get out and have fun, have some friends…. that’s important too.

Start planting a garden, you need organic veggies and working in a garden is very healing.

Start a community garden so everyone can heal… that can be your project.

Think positive thoughts, the mind/body is one and science has proven this – it’s a fact.

Laugh – it’s very healing

Forgive, forget, and let go—that’s very important… if you hold resentments and anger it hurts your body – science has also proven this.
