Oracle for April 2015 – Observation

Observation: The energies and directions for the month of April are evolving around observation and observing what we see as we begin to lift the veil of the illusion. The energies and directions of the year of 2015 are to support us in our personal and spiritual growth and that will help us see beyond the illusion, to free ourselves bit by bit from Maya.

We may or may not be aware that Maya is a Sanskrit word. It is commonly translated as ‘illusion.’ As with most ancient spiritual concepts, we don’t really have an English word that aptly or accurately describes what the sages of old meant by the word, Maya, but anyone who has awakened from the dream even a little, is prepared to grasp the intended meaning of the word. I have been using the word illusion in the same way. And remember, being an illusion does not make it unreal. That is why I bring this up with observation, as there is a subtle distinction between the word Maya and the word illusion, and that is what I am referring to.

So, as we began our journey this year into exploring the illusion or maybe the existence of Maya if we had not thought of it before, we called forth the Willpower to open our eyes and take a look to see if, indeed, there is the possibility that this is all just an illusion, the Matrix, if you will. And then, are we caught up in it?

Then, our next step, in February, was to focus our Attention. Can we realize some experience of the illusion? Can we get a feel for what the Oracle is talking about? This may be new to many of us yet it is so important to know these are the steps that will bring more of an expansion of our very own spiritual consciousness as we move to understand what this brings to us.

Then, in March, we were lead to practice Piercing or lifting the veil on the illusion to see what is beyond it or at least recognize that there is a reality, albeit different from what we know, there…wherever there is, eh?

Now, in this month of April, the Oracle points its signpost toward our next step, that of taking time to see, to do some Observation of what and how this illusion shifts and parts and gives us opportunities to, at least occasionally, see beyond this reality. Can that really be? Do, read on…

Observation, Defined

So let’s start with defining Observation so we know what we are talking about. While we certainly have a concept of it in our mind, the Oracle likes to make sure we are clear when it is our spiritual practice for the month, so we know our focus.

For the sake of possibly deeper understanding of seeing what we can observe or understand beyond the illusion this month of April, the Merriam Webster dictionary defines “Observation” as “the act of careful watching and listening; the activity of paying close attention to someone or something in order to get information.”

This is exactly the key, observation, in order to get and gather information. This is what will help us on our journey through understanding the illusion and its impact on us and our ability to break through, away, and gain a truer sense of our own direction, our own self authenticity our own way of being. The illusion keeps us bound, as we discussed in the Oracle for the year…the grasshopper all bound up being alive but not being its authentic grasshopper self.

Thinking About Observation

Contemplating observation beyond the veil presents an opportunity for us to exercise our real live, true knowing deep in our heart that there is, indeed, more than this third, fourth, or fifth dimensional reality.

Now, this month of April, is the time to take up this next challenge of observation, to grasp something that we can see behind the veil we lifted or pierced last month…if we did. In understanding the illusion, Maya, the Matrix, the first thing one notices behind the view of our present-focused reality is that there are many layers to this illusion. There are layers around our Mother Earth, our planet, and even around the collective human consciousness.

As we step more and more into our authentic self and work on connecting more to the Divine Pipeline, we are able to see beyond the veil of illusion. We see that what we have believed to be true in our present life experience, at the state we are presently in, may or may not be the truth. It is really a mental construct. Through observation, we gather and integrate that information. We can understand that underlying all belief systems and the illusion is TRUTH.

A “Truthful” Observation

That, itself, is a big discussion because there are those who believe truth is relative; that there is no absolute Truth with a capital T. And there are those that believe that their particular truth is Truth with a capital T. However, ancient sages forever have said that there is Truth with a capital T and it is not defined by a belief in this, that, or the other thing. Truth is I AM that I AM. What, we may ask, does that mean? Do we get it? I AM that I AM?

For me, it feels that what I AM experiencing and expressing at any given time, without blame, judgment, or negative connotation, is me; is part of All That Is; is Truth. That does not mean we do not keep our awareness about us or our assessment or discernment about what is in front of our physical and metaphysical eyes because we are incarnated in our physical bodies after all, eh? No, that is a very important part of observation beyond the veil. One of the difficulties with getting a handle on illusion is that the illusion will mirror back to oneself whatever one believes. Oh that’s helpful, eh? Jeepers!

A Deep Observation

However, it is when we know this in our deepest heart level, that we can question our own beliefs with that depth, process the information, and grow spiritually and in consciousness because of it. Then we are able to release discordant patterns within our life experience. This depth of understanding provides us with the ability to see those patterns, assess them (again without blame or judgment) rise above the current illusion and release them. That way, in looking beyond the veil, we are always attempting to perceive the truth that lies underneath or beyond the veil of illusion.

As with all signposts, this Oracle points us to consider expanding our spiritual consciousness and remembering, always, that Love and Trust will follow us. Lift the veil, observe, and meditate on what it will bring to us for our growth and personal development. See there are different ways to do things, different ways to be…the higher road, the peaceful road, the loving road…all with an understanding that there is a veil, and there is a beyond the veil, and that I AM that I AM.

Pondering the spiritual realms and other constructs beyond the veil will truly ground you further in the bonds of Divine Love that hold it all together, all the time, no matter what. So remember…all you need is love…it will propel you into more and more into the expansion of your ability to see beyond the veil of the illusion, to release yourself, bit by bit, from Maya, from your very own Matrix!!

A Final Observation

Let your mantra for the month of April be: I AM learning to observe the layers of illusion, the layers of Maya, with eyes wide open…And So It Is!!!
