Greetings Pilgrims!
The solar year is half complete as we enter the month of July, with the passage of the Solstice now behind us and the length of days growing shorter. The Sun, being in the sign of Cancer, reminds us of the nature of passages, cycles… the ebb and flow of our material life. Whatever has a beginning has an ending; renewal and decay, the stages of growing illumination and the following closure of darkness… stillness and rebirth. The Goddess is our changing consciousness, ephemeral and transient… as this Earthly life appears to be.

On July 5th Lord Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, alternative in thought and sudden unexpected action, begins it’s cycle of retrograde… in retreat from the House of Mars, Aries. Opportunity arrives for sins of the past to be examined and a new decision made about choices the chela might regret… meditation and stillness will allow new ideas to come forth.
Activity! July 8th faire Venus sets in opposition to Lord Neptune beginning a series of events that can bring new-found insight… while the Messenger, Mercury, enters the Tribe of the Lion on the 9th… things will begin to speed up in the seeker’s life. Communication and the movement of commerce will be highlighted for the next 25 days. The student of the activity of the Celestial Gods will note that Mercury trines Uranus and is prepared to take action.
The cluster of active planets is lessened with the passage of Venus to Virgo, art is managed and the chela finds order in the affairs of their life. Organization is the theme for the rest of July!
The newing of the Moon gains power as it casts a shadow, a total Solar Eclipse on the 11th, in the house of Cancer. Resolution of Capricorn’s Plutonian unrest will arrive… nations at war will reason for Peace… new beginnings are likely with this cycle of closure.
On the 22nd of July as Sol enters Leo, the Ringed One will reenter Libra and decide it is good, happy to repose there for 2 years or more! The dance of the planets is given some release, and upcoming Grand Squares will have a less malefic facade… Saturnine punishments have been appeased. Good Karma returns!
