Purposeful Life

by Kristine Kenyon

Purged, from the depths of my soul I am heaved, Into soil I now work with my own sweet hands. I stem closer unto hymn, drawing from peace Wondrously working clay, grounded I stand

Believing in love given to me freely Imagining the heights I may well reach, Waiting the secrets, knowledge to be revealed No longer can I wait with an untapped zeal

Left to my own devises, I’d travail at best Yet, encouraged I work this land and farm Tilling the ground I plant seeds of greatness, Nurturing them, keeping them safe from harm. The plantlings grow fervently in thy favor Purposing life for another to savor
