Feng Shui for Greater Wisdom
Wisdom and Children These same colors will work for children — especially for children with a lot of energy, who may have trouble sitting still and paying attention in school. Black, dark green and white can also help tame an irrational teenager.
If your children have a specific place where they study, decorate this area in dark, serene colors, and consider activating the knowledge area of the space with a mirror or another Feng Shui cure.
A child’s study area should be quiet and free of distractions like television or other members of the family talking and relaxing. If there is a computer with Internet access where your child studies, it should be in clear view of parents, but should still be quiet, peaceful and conducive to concentration. For this reason, the kitchen is not an ideal study spot.
Keep in mind, very young children (kindergarten through 6th grade) should be surrounded in a rainbow of primary colors, so they develop the virtues associated with all five Feng Shui elements. But they should still have a quiet space to learn and develop effective study habits.
