Avoid Fear and Fright for a Healthier Life
Living in fear puts someone in a state of constant stress. The body begins to habitually release the hormone cortisol causing, weight gain, heart problems, thyroid imbalances and other physical Issues. The truly sad part about this is that most fears are entirely unfounded. We fear the unknown. We fear what could happen — without really knowing.
Fear and Feng Shui
What does fear have to do with Feng Shui? Again, Feng Shui is about the way the energy (chi) moves through a space. Your surroundings can evoke constant fear and discomfort, or make you feel protected and safe. To excel in life, achieve your goals and create a happier home, seek peace over fear in your surroundings.
For instance, if you work with your back to the door in your home office, constant anxiety may linger in the back of your mind, so subtle you don’t realize it’s affecting the way you work. You may not realize it, but your body and actions will be adversely affected by the fear of someone sneaking up behind you (and maybe even yelling, “Boo!”) If you can’t avoid working with your back to the door, place a mirror in front of you on your desk so you can see what’s going on behind you.
You may also experience anxiety if your bed is not in the command position; this is especially true for children. Placing your bed in the command position will help you feel more secure and protected, while permitting you to get a better night’s sleep, free of worry and, yes, fear!
