The Imaginative Art of Bev Stratton-Proemper
OMtimes: Can you tell us a little about the spiritual essence of your work? Bev: It’s difficult to explain about the essence in my work, my paintings, they are me, the core, they are us, all of us, when I paint it is with the Heart, that I feel is the Essence of them and us.
OMtimes: What is the message you want to express, through your Paintings? Bev: The message is the painting, that what one sees and feels when looking at it, depending on what is being gone through in ones life at the time of looking. There is emotional freedom within all of them, maybe that is what is needed and can be gained by them. For me it’s certain purity. Painting has enabled me to release emotions or overloads within me… and to also guide me within my Lightworker Calling … giving and receiving… the codex of Lightworking. These paintings are all HEALING PAINTINGS …they help me and they help others… perfect…. the balance.
OMtimes: Bev, are there different phases in your work? Bev: Yes there are many phases in my art, some of the paintings were left for over a year and then when the time felt right, added to or even changed, that’s the freedom we have. The timing just has to be right. It has to be felt then known and not in any way forced, if forced then the painting will have lost something very special. For this reason i added albums on Facebook SHINE A LIGHT page showing the different steps to the paintings and showing also the changes that could take place before the final painting was actually finished… One painting Called “SOON, the New Seed to the New Life” actually had a lady in it who changed at least 6 times..!! Now THAT was some journey. My new painting, which has just been finished in time for the Autumn Equinox is called FREEDOM, now this one took 2 years to paint: From an old lady… changing to a child, who needed protection to the now beautiful lady with golden hair and a wonderful Aura and Spiritual growth.
OMtimes: What are your expectations about your message, what do you intend to reach through your art. Bev: My purpose is to be able to distribute these paintings to as many people as possible in order that they can receive the Healing found within them. Therefore a Publisher will be found who will print them for sale to those who are lead to them. Personally I would love to see them as small laminated cards, so that they can be carried around and looked at when needed, fully protected.
With this distribution I will be helped by selling them and others by looking and feeling them, the perfect balance, Namaste
