Oracle – Expansion

As we begin the journey into another new year, and we take notice of the acceleration of time and the movement of all events around us, we find the energies and directions for the month of January to evolve around the concept of Expansion. So, “Expansion” is our key word for January. So, what do we mean by expansion?
There are many facets to the integration of expansion into your spiritual practices this January. One is expanding your concept of God, Spirit, All That Is, whatever that energy is to you, expanding and spending time contemplating the nature of all that. It is about taking time to practice sensing the movement of those subtle energies of life within other living systems. Adding to your daily life the contemplation and realization that part of what you are as a human being is to expand your understanding of All That Is as we move into the age of Oneness.
Another facet of expansion of our consciousness is moving beyond the illusion, the limitations of human beliefs, the mind conditioning, the ruts we have in our thinking patterns which take us down negative paths – we practice expanding those out. It is about setting aside your intellectual beliefs and awakening your intuitive wisdom. Take the time to allow yourself to stop and say, no, we are not going down that road again. There is no reality to it, it is just made up stuff. So part of the expansion this month is to contemplate the ways for you to expand beyond your limiting beliefs and thoughts.
Another facet of expansion is expanding your heart love, that unconditional love. It is there. I have just started Ram Dass’ new book Be Love Now…having been an avid reader of all of Ram Dass’ material since the early 1970s including his book Still Here, which he wrote after his stroke, I highly recommend all his books if you have not read any and his new one you may find to be a signpost for the expansion of your heart level of love.
If you accept that your essential self is given the work of discovering itself and that this is the journey through life, then know that this month of January 2011 is about expanding that work. You may not have integrated a spiritual process into your life or if you have, you may find it is not working the way it used to. Energies have changed. Those of us who have been on the planet a long time and have been on a spiritual path for a long time, must take note that the energies are constantly shifting now, not walking through the mud any more, and the spiritual practices of the old days are not the spiritual practices in today’s new energy. We have shifted things; we have created new realities and allowed for more and more Light to enter on to the planet. And all of us are the Lighthouses for those who are awakening so expand your love, your light, your consciousness…And yet, with these changes with these shifting energies, with all that is going on in the world around us, it is important that at all levels of spiritual progress it is this month of January for you to focus your attention, set your intention, on the expansion of all facets of your Soul Being. Get beyond your daily “life situation” as Eckhart Tolle calls it and expand to be the Lighthouse, to be unconditional love, to be compassionate and understanding, to be the source of information for those thirsting for a way of understanding these changing times.
