What event in your life led you to discover that you are psychic?

I have never not been psychic. I may have struggled through a few, awkward years of self-doubt and buying into the conventional ideas about the non-reality of esoteric and metaphysical concepts. But, I’m all better, now.

As of December 2010, you decided to give up your car. What prompted this decision?

Owning a car was contributing to more of my daily stress than any other factor. I’d cringe every time I had to wonder if I was parked in a street sweeping zone on he wrong day. I would feel a knot in my stomach every time I got stuck in traffic. I would feel more and more frustration each day I had to wait 20 minutes for a parking space at my own workplace. Then, the turning point came when I attended a multimedia performance that vividly illuminated the environmental impact of our contemporary western habits of comfort and convenience. That was pretty much it. Laziness was not going to be my reason for hurting the world. I started taking my bike to work more frequently and by December, I had completely adjusted my life to be functional in the absence of a car. It’s been a serious challenge but, far more positive overall than where I was, before. I highly recommend kicking the car habit to anyone.

I know that astrology is one of your passions. What is your primary philosophy on astrology? How do you assist others using this tool? Astrology is a widely misunderstood science. When practiced correctly, it is an indispensable system of psychological analysis as well as an excellent predictive tool. One of the greatest contemporary astrological writers to my mind is Steven Forrest, who has stated, “The planets ask the questions. The answers are up to you.” I think that is a solid approach to using astrology as a means of seeing our lives more clearly and objectively. The whole point is to make better, healthier and more functional choices.

In my practice, astrology allows the client to identify his tools, assets, tendencies and challenges. It’s almost like the outline of a business plan. First, we want to clarify an intention. Then we ask, What is working? What isn’t? What do we have at our disposal that can be utilized differently than we already have? How does timing support of hinder our progress? In time, people come to more accurately understand their own inner workings and how to finally get what they want.

What other tools and abilities do you utilize in your psychic career?

I’m an empath. Yes, like on Star Trek. I feel other people’s feelings. I can also run a “line” from the person I’m talking to to the person about whom they are inquiring. That was a real bitch when I was a kid on the school bus, inundated by emotional substance that I didn’t even know wasn’t mine. Now, that I know what it is and how to pick and choose what I let in, it’s a very useful skill, indeed.
