The Heart of the Matter: The Age of the Heart Chakra

Spiritual beings in a physical body. That is what we are. However, whether or not we are “in” the body or actually “around” the body is another story!
Our physical body is connected to three energy bodies, commonly referred to as the lower energy bodies.
These lower energy bodies are bridges that connect to the higher energy bodies, which exist in much higher realms.
These higher bodies are inaccessible to our physical form. Therefore, we interact with the lower energy bodies which are more accessible to us, in terms of frequency.
Cosmic energy, in the form of light, flows through the realms of these bodies, through channels known as nadis. When this energy flows through the channels of these subtle bodies, it streams into the physical body through whirling energy portals known as the chakra.
When our physical body is free of toxic energies and toxic physical residue, this cosmic flow of energy flows with greater ease within and without the physical body.
This state of being, when receiving the flow of cosmic energy through the chakra, creates an increased awareness of the self, of life and of our interconnectedness with all life and the cosmos. It also creates a greater awareness of the Source, or the Divine. This state of being is called “expanded consciousness”.
Consciousness is commonly understood as a relationship between the mind and what is beyond the physical. However, it appears to be more intricate than that.
It seems that consciousness is actually coming from the heart.
Every heart beat serves a physical function, exerting pressure and allowing for blood to be pumped in the body. These heart beats are a result of electrical energy. This electrical energy is produced by specific cells in the heart which generate electricity. They produce a current that flows through the heart, causing it to contract – or “beat”.
Cosmic energy comes from the cosmic field of information or intelligence. We tap this field for information. Or at least we thought that we “tapped” it with our minds. Our minds, however, are not doing the tapping.
Cosmic energy that flows through the chakra contains information. This energy is flowing through the informational field, or the cosmic field, picking up or receiving information as it flows.
This information that we acquire through the cosmic intelligence is actually transmitted to the body via the heart chakra. Our heart chakra is the source of entry of informational energy. This chakra has the built in system of intelligence – allowing for processing and transmitting the information.
Ancient traditions had realized that the heart is the physical receptor of this energy/information. That is why we have always associated the heart with love. Love is divine energy.
