Then there are some souls that do not move into the light. They’re called wayward spirits or ghosts. They actually turn away from the doors of heaven. I divide ghosts into two categories. There are the ones who choose to stay. I’ve seen many reasons that a soul may want to stay here: out of great love for someone, out of fear for what awaits them, hatred, vengeance, love of a place or home, a need for justice, or another other strong human emotion that keeps them attached to the physical realm.
Then there are souls that stay earth-bound for a period out of confusion. This happens many times after a traumatic death or suicide. When a soul is ejected from the body, it can be in a state of confusion or disbelief. Not realizing that the physical self is no longer a container for the soul, they wander about trying to live life as normal, although they realize that something’s amiss. But know this: eventually all earth-bound souls return to the heavens, some just take longer than others.

Dear Struggling In this physical world we use currency in exchange for goods and services. There is nothing unspiritual about making an honest living. Simply look at it as an exchange of positive energy. Anytime you are in-service then you are doing spiritual work weather that’s helping aclient with a problem, walking a dog for your elderly neighbor, volunteering at the local shelter or starting a prayer circle to help heal the planet. If you are called to be in-service as a career then do something that you love with conviction, knowing that your needs will be met. Make a plan, and then workhard at making your dreams a reality and your finances will fall in place. Action is faith in motion; you are the co-creator of your reality.
