Oracle – Silent Counsel
In order to help you set your course for the coming year, a year of much more change and shifting energies, you need to consider and understand that entering into your space as your silent counsel pulls you into being still. Being very still is a powerful response to any situation and it is the favorite strategy of those who have real mastery in life. Just being quiet but fully alert will usually bring a situation to its own resolution. It is the wisest part of you that will understand December is about pausing (even while all the holiday happenings are going on and maybe even because they are going on) and not being fixed or rigid, but pausing and being one pointed like a hawk in a tree watching, waiting, expecting…ready!
Stillness, pausing, quieting to connect with your silent counsel is not about denial or passivity. It is about bringing a quality of presence that allows you and others around you to breathe easier, to be calmer, to be more patient. You have the ability to be the sign post for others as you become still and at peace with yourself and whatever is going on around you. This energy flows out through you to those with whom you relate.
Eckhart Tolle wrote a wonderful book which I highly recommend called “Stillness Speaks.” This book really connected me personally with the underlying stillness of the cosmos. If, when, you can stop the mind even for a minute, you will find the underlying eternal stillness, this cosmic awareness. December is about being in this space with your highest energy to set your directions and intentions for 2012.
You are also being urged by this Oracle that as you go within you reconsider your opinion of yourself. That’s because it is time to appreciate your own inner beauty and inestimateable value. It is true and it is time for you to accept and appreciate this. You may feel people disregard you or fail to meet your needs or undervalue you and/or your efforts. You may feel overshadowed by those with more inner authority, those who appear more in touch with their silent counselor. This Oracle is here for you to expand this connection to your Spirit within yourself now. You are encouraged to nurture this inner connection so that you are better able to make decisions, resolve situations and improve your relationships. It is, indeed, based on your spiritual practices – you only need to know it is so, and it is!
So, with your eyes wide open this month of December, fully alert, go within on a regular basis. Take time to breathe, to relax, to be still, to be quiet. To listen to your inner authority, your inner guidance for everything. Let information flow through you and do not force things in your life. Allow and accept. Your attention within will truly ground you further within the bonds of Divine Love that hold it all together all the time no matter what and so remember…All You Need Is Love…it will sustain you on your journey within to your own silent counsel, your own knowing.
