Your Book “Get What You Want” is more than a collection of daily intentions for individuals but also a powerful guidebook for the ones that are really serious about their spiritual life. It is our understanding that there is much more information than what we are used to seeing around with the simple Law of Attraction. How would you conciliate the teachings from The Secret with this exceptional personal exploration on the science of Intentions?
Tony Burroughs: Yes, it is our Intention that these Intenders Materials take the Law of Attraction to its next level. Early on I realized that in order for these teachings to be valid and authentic I’d have to integrate them into my own personal life. Humbly, and to the best of my ability, I have done that – and the stories in Get What You Want: The Art of Making and Manifesting Your Intentions, as well as the stories in all of my 9 books and 3 DVDs, are a testimonial to that endeavor. They’re not only entertaining tales; they’re experiences that really happened to me and my Intenders friends that others can use as a guide for navigating through their own personal evolution.
Now, about The Secret: from my perspective, The Secret was revolutionary. I loved it, although we in The Intenders felt that it left a couple of very important points out. After all, we had been working with the Law of Attraction consciously in groups many years before The Secret came out, so the first thing that we felt was missing in The Secret was the Highest Good factor. We Intenders always say that in order for our Intentions to manifest that they must serve the Highest Good of the Universe, ourselves and everyone concerned. Our experiences have shown us, time and time again, that we wouldn’t want to manifest anything that isn’t for our Highest Good. In fact, let’s talk about this Highest Good factor for a moment. We call it “the world’s greatest insurance policy” because if it’s not for the Highest Good for something to manifest, then it won’t. Likewise, if it is for our Highest Good, then it will manifest, typically right away.We also found, over the years, that when people stand for the Highest Good in an Intenders Circle, it calls forth the Soul Group – those with whom we’ve made agreements and arrangements long ago, before we came into these physical bodies, to come together at this most poignant, pregnant time in human history to fulfill our Soul’s Intention, bring personal empowerment back into the forefront of human experience, and create Oneness with our fellow travelers.
