Weight Loss Soup – A Great Way to Lose Those Pounds

Time to lose some weight? Then put together a great weight loss soup that will help you shed those unwanted pounds.

Weight Loss Soup is inexpensive and easy to make… and you can make a large portion and keep it in the frig for 5 days as you eat it… or freeze it for later.

Ingredients:

1 – Large Onion Chopped

2 – Large Tomatoes Chopped

3 – Cups of Shredded Cabbage

4 – Cups of Dandelion Greens Chopped

5 – Cloves of Garlic Minced

8 – Small potatoes – the smaller the better — chop with the skins on (red potatoes or any other potatoes will work, the skins add fiber, the skins are the important part)

2 – Tablespoons of Olive Oil

Enough Chicken or Vegetable Stock to cover the veggies. (use low sodium stock or make your own)

2 – Bay Leaves

You can add a little bit of Old Bay seasoning (low sodium if possible) or any other low sodium seasoning you like to taste, also a little sea salt (need just a little for good taste) and black pepper.

Saute the onions in the olive oil until translucent. Next add the garlic and the rest of the veggies, the bay leaves, and enough stock to cover the veggies and bring everything to a boil in a large pot. Then lower the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, then add more stock to cover the veggies, add the seasoning, salt and pepper, and simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes.

Wonderful on cold winter days.

Enjoy — You can eat as much of this soup as you like!
