Eight Foods You can Eat to Promote Feelings of Inner Peace

1. Chai Tea, even though it does have some caffeine it, also has lots of great healing, soothing, herbs that help one to feel at peace and calm down in the middle of a stressful lifestyle. And you can also find decaffeinated chai tea too which will relax and sooth even more.

2. Seaweed contains lots of great magnesium and tryptophan that promotes feelings of peace. You know the old saying about Uncle Bod falling asleep after eating lots of turkey on Thanksgiving. Well, that’s all true… but with seaweed, you have the best of both worlds… lots of great nutrients with very few calories.

3. Maca Root is a food that’s common in South American it’s used like a potato, and has many great health qualities… one of the best being that it helps with stress and works wonders for anxiety too. At the same time, maca will provide a boost of energy, balance hormones, and it’s also jam-packed full of healing nutrients.

Food like collard greens, beets, and dandelion greens are full of amazing antioxidants and phytonutrients that help you relax, plus they help move Qi and Chi through the body which also helps with anger, irritability, confusion, and even frustrations.
