Boston Marathon: Trying to Understand with Astrology

Another day of trauma for Earth dwellers, the anticipated aggressive explosion of pent-up emotions of anger, grief, jealousy, and separation. At 2:53pm in Boston, Massachusetts a bomb was set off near the finish line of the Boston marathon. There are physical deaths. There are many wounded. And the psyche of the American people. and people all over the world, are set into shock -yet again,
The chart houses are for the chart of Boston, MA at the time of the explosions.
Mars, ruler of Aries, at 26 degrees 27 minutes Aries, is less than 30 minutes away from the Sun at 25 degrees 58 minutes in the 9th house of the dominant paradigm of the culture, the philosophy by which it believes and lives. The United States is a Martian culture. Martian themes of courage, assertiveness, relentless pursuit of the desired with dynamic, fiery energy work well when they do but the downside of Martian energy is violence, aggression, competitiveness, and a me-first, me-only attitude.
As the Mars-Sun combustion in Aries erupted we know this day’s events are exacerbated by the ongoing Pluto-Uranus square. Pluto is at 11 degrees 35 minutes Capricorn in the 5th house. Uranus is at 9 degrees 30 minutes Aries in the 8th house. The arena of play squares the unpredictable expression of Uranus in the house of death and loss. The ongoing Pluto-Uranus square will continue through March 2015 to rock our world.
It is IMPERATIVE, as lightworkers, as way-showers, that we keep our vibrations as high as possible during these times of dramatic shifts. Try not to watch the images of horrible things happening between people. You know what happened. Resist the impulse to coat your brain with sadness and grief. Continue to hold the lamp of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE high above the pain. Send prayers of LOVE to all humans, as we are in need of this and YOU are the one to do this critical work. Do not waste your energy asking WHY. Ask only how you may serve and you will be shown the way.
