Illuminate the Committee in Your Head – Day 0

There are four perceptual levels through which a Laika engages the world.  These levels correspond to the four domains of manifestation of vibration and light:  the physical world (our body), the realm of thoughts and ideas (mind), the realm of myth (soul), and the world of spirit (energy).  These perceptual levels are associated with the four energetic bodies that make up the human energy field. They’re stacked inside each other like Russian nesting dolls, with the physical body innermost, the mental body enveloping and informing the physical shell, and the spiritual body outermost, informing and organizing them all like a blueprint.

Deepening your acquaintance with the crowd in your head does not require deep knowledge of these multiple disciplines, but rather a cultivation of flexibility, playfulness, and compassion leading to self-mastery.   Tools of the varying disciplines can be helpful, but remember to never mistake the tool for the progress.  Whatever thread you follow – psychology, shamanism, astrology, metaphysics, or spirituality – if you follow it deeply enough, eventually it leads to the same opportunity for self-mastery.  Whatever you call it doesn’t change that fact.  If you can get comfortable exploring and illuminate the committee in your head, you will recognize your own truths.

Imagine you are a great adventurer heading out for a 30 day exploration of a mysterious wilderness inside your head.  You begin by identifying and loosening the grip of your external roles and learning about your internal personality tendencies.  From there you will apply perceptual insights, and master survival instincts like fight, flight, and freeze.  With some level of confidence obtained, you can then begin to see how your inner world interacts with the outer world in what we call a triangle of disempowerment where people habitually adopt the role of victim, bully, or rescuer.
