OMTIMES: How would you advise someone that would desire to have a personal relationship with their souls and grow spiritually? How can one prepare himself to have these experiences?
TC: The answer depends strongly on the individual. However, in general there are multiple things this person might profitably focus on. First of all, if their mental energy is scattered, they should begin regular meditation. Secondly they would need to understand that growth/change must occur at the being level, not at the intellectual level (one cannot study one’s self to spiritual growth). Thirdly, they should begin a program to reduce their fear, ego, beliefs, and expectations and I would give them a process for accomplishing that. Lastly, after they had accomplished some of the above, I would explain the many ways one can “have a personal relationship with their souls and grow spiritually” And let them tell me what sort of relationship and growth they wanted to experience. I could then help them connect their expectations to the way reality/consciousness/spirituality actually works. Finally, together, we would develop a personal plan for them with a series of stages that can take them to where they want to go – to what they want to experience/become.
OMTIMES: Dealing with so many spiritual and paranormal experiences, through the optic of consciousness, how do you relay this spiritual technology with the counterpart/ data/ information provided broadly by the conspiracy theory?
TC: What sort of conspiracy theory and what data does it provide? I am not sure I understand your question but I will attempt a general answer. If you wish to redirect my focus, just reply with some more explanation of what you are intending.
Conspiracy theory has no fundamental relationship with consciousness or the paranormal. Conspiracy theory, as I have come across it on the internet, tends to be energized and fed by fear: What “they” are doing to us and how “they” are manipulating/tricking us. Like Dorothy and Toto’s song: “Lions, tigers, and bears! Oh No!”
Whether conspiracy theories are focused on the paranormal? Or on the government or on UFOs makes little difference. Fear is a problem; seldom does it ever become, or add to, an effective solution. That does not mean that real conspiracies do not exist, simply that “education” through fear, conjecture, ignorance, and gossip level assumptions is not helpful. Fear is a tool of manipulation, it sucks people in…. fighting fear with counter-fear is not productive. I approach everything with open-minded skepticism, there is no other way to effectively deal with uncertainty. To feel compelled to either believe or not to believe is imprudent.
