Vibrant Juicing – Day 0
1) Buy your produce (Go for organic if possible)
2) Wash thoroughly
3) Chop into pieces that will fit into your juicer shoot
4) Put it through the juicer
5) If you aren’t a fan of pulp, put it through a nut milk bag.
6) Take apart your juicer and wash.
How to store?
Place juice in an airtight jar (mason jars work great). It can be kept up to two to three days depending on your juicer. High-speed juicers tend to separate and slow juicers keep longer.
When is the best time to have a juice?
The best time to have juice is on an empty stomach. This way it can be used and absorbed at a faster rate and not be blocked by other food.
What is the difference between a centrifugal juicer and a slow juicer?
Centrifugal juicers are high speed and shred your fruit and vegetables. They are usually more affordable but the quality of juice suffers.
Slow juicers press fruits and vegetables to extract the juice out of it. They are a bit more expensive but the quality of juice makes up for it!
What is my favorite juicer?
There are many juicers on the market. My all time favorite is the Hurom Slow juicer.
It uses slow speed technology, which doesn’t damage the vitamin and mineral content. It has dryer pulp because the yield is higher due to better extraction. It keeps more nutrients in the juice and can be kept in the fridge for up to two days. Of course fresh is best. Another bonus is that it is quiet and small so it fits right on your counter.
