30 Days of Self Healing – Day 9

Ask yourself whether you experience any of these reactions soon after eating certain foods:

1)     Itching or tingling in and around your mouth

2)     Swelling in the mouth or a “narrowing” or “closing” feeling in your throat

3)     Rashes, blotches, or redness on your skin

4)     Irritated or runny eyes, or runny nose

5)     Wheezing or difficulty breathing

6)     Feeling acutely sick or even vomiting

If you answered yes to even one of the above, you may well have a food allergy to a certain food or foods.

Next, ask yourself whether you experience any of these reactions awhile after eating foods:

1)     Bloating or pain in your stomach or abdomen

2)     A rumbling abdomen—perhaps accompanied by gas

3)     Constipation or diarrhea

5)     Headache or migraine

One or more “yes” responses may—but only may—indicate a food intolerance.
