A Daily Look Within – Day 10
If we look upon the process of creation as the progress or expression of life (full of possibilities and promise), then our past and all of its combined experiences are its intake or return breath; the undertow of that wave. What we call the realm of Akasha, or the library-style cosmic consciousness found there, is the repository of our material world no longer evident. It may no longer be “seen” by our material senses, but its energy still lies accessible for those of us who seek to know it. We might refuse to look in the mirror or acknowledge its presence, or we can seek it purposefully in order to judge our actions in a timeless way. Ignoring the past is rather rude and presumptuous of us, don’t you think?
It does require action, though, to be able to take advantage of a rear-view assessment of something that is no longer in our material world. We can easily look back and see nothing; have no point of reference. Yet, this energy is there; accessed by others who can show the way. There are skills that are currently dormant, unlearned, and untested in our internal and/or psychic repertoire that may help in such exploration. Like meditation, we do not see benefits unless we really do it.
The books and other reference material (like that found on Wikipedia) indicate similar ideology. The realm of Akasha is either guided or monitored by beings known as the Ascended Masters. One of the things those just becoming aware need to remember are that we are not talking about physical beings or even spiritual-looking beings as we might envision either angels or ghosts to resemble. The way the beings appear to us may be more like the unseen realm in which they reside. Consider what we say when we get the shivers or chills, “A goose walked over my grave.” By way of explanation or association, these beings could very well be feelings that are associated with various parts of our physical anatomy to which they connect; and it may be up to us to interpret that impression.
