A Daily Look Within – Day 15
The inherent power that lies in the realm of Fire has enthralled mankind since our earliest time. Generations have marked the passing on of torches and the maintenance of Fire or an “eternal flame” as the way to carry on the concept of life into the future. Fire has lit the darkness of our physical, mental, and spiritual worlds.
Contemplation Piece: May my own intentions be like Fire: powerful, captivating, and true in their purpose as a live example of the Creative Spirit. May my warmth, abilities, and realizations spread and my light of knowledge glow in positive and affirming ways toward others who may have need of them.
ELEMENTAL CONTEMPLATION: SPIRIT
Spirit is a highly indefinable element, yet there is really no denying its existence. It is very enigmatic…unseen, yet all around us like the Air. It is as movable as Water, yet as constant as Earth. It is volatile yet creative, as is Fire. Spirit is, in many ways, bits and pieces of a whole picture. As such, Spirit is not attributed to a compass point; rather, it is viewed centrally as it has its effects on everything, on every plane of existence, in all directions, for all of time.
Spirit embodies what causes everything into being. It can sometimes be pictured as a lightning bolt or creative spark; it is Consciousness. Knowing that Spirit exists and realizing we are a part of Spirit, is to acknowledge and know that Spirit is huge, all-encompassing, and interconnected with all of life and matter everywhere around us.
