A Daily Look Within Day 19

“Cauldron of Possibilities” – Energies; solar plexus chakra; striking balance
Some of the struggle we may have with balance can come from the fact that we may not be able to agree completely with others. We cannot fully agree because each of us gets a unique perspective. We can see some similarity with others, but each of us has our own interaction…our own interplay with possibility… our own targeted assets with which to deal with what comes our way. For example, it is what makes one person better able to handle challenges in life that would make another person cower with insecurity.
Today’s post is an attempt to help you visualize or understand how possibilities–those assigned assets–might come about.
To begin, open your mind to include the following vision: Imagine we have come to a theatre to be entertained by a skilled magician performing on stage. We watch as he chivalrously holds the hand of his lovely assistant, as she climbs carefully yet purposefully into a large, wicker basket. Slowly, enchantingly, she lowers herself completely inside the impossibly small space and, with a delicate wave farewell, a cover is placed upon it.
To the side of the magician is a container full of long, dangerous, and very sharp swords. He takes out a sword and burnishes it in the stage lights to show off its honed, lethal edge. The magician carefully chooses where to place the sword, then thrusts the sword completely through to the other side of the basket! To the on-going shock and awe of the audience, he continues placing the swords, one after the other, until his container is empty and the basket (along with the lovely assistant inside) are pierced as though it was a giant pin cushion.
