Feeling Energy – Intuition Practice
If you want to practice using your intuition, you can do some simple exercises by yourself anywhere. Over the next seven days we will be doing one intuition exercise a day. The more you practice the better you’ll become at picking up how you receive your intuitive messages. This first intuition exercise will be about feeling the energy from people and places.
What does energy feel like? The feeling of energy is very subtle and it’s the same for your psychic or intuitive messages. They are very subtle and almost unnoticeable. They go by very quickly, and sometimes you even have to think, did I really feel something? By practicing your sensing energy and then being able to open up to that energy, you can amplify it, so it is more noticeable to your conscious mind. Once you amplify it, by being aware of it, it will become clearer to you that it’s there and you can then discover what the energy actually means to you, that is, whether it’s a good energy or a not so good one.
Energy can feel like buzzes or tingles, or you may feel a slight temperature difference. Sometimes the energy feels like a change in the atmosphere, as if the air has gotten heavier or lighter. You may feel a rush go up your leg or down your spine. Or you may get, what Doreen Virtue calls, angel bumps, which are like goose bumps you get when you’re cold, but you’re not cold, it’s just energy. Sometimes the energy is an emotional feeling, you may feel tense, or sad, or heavy in your heart, or you may feel uplifted.
