C.S. Bromley – Running Down the Path to OM
I’ve had a lot of challenges in my life, and have been very lost more than once. I’ve found myself on some dark paths, but throughout it all, the one thing that always brought me back was spirituality. The right book or person would appear. I would read or hear something random, it would “click” and put me back where I was supposed to be.
I’m thankful for all those darker times. To look back and reflect on where I have been and how I have gotten to where I am gives me so much trust and faith in the Divine. It is nothing short of miraculous. Everything that has happened was supposed to. Every challenge gives me more faith in who I am and what my purpose is.
No one has a perfect story; it is in the imperfections that the strength and beauty is found.
OM Times: How do you incorporate your holistic, spiritual side with the fitness world?
Cee: Deep down we all know we want to be balanced; it’s an innate instinct because multi-dimensional beings is who we are authentically. I think that what people are unfamiliar with can frighten them. For me, it’s been a lot about meeting people in the middle or (90/10), and slowly they become more interested in what it is that they are not practicing. It’s been teaching me a lot of patience and that truly serving others isn’t about what I want to share, it’s about what people are ready to learn and how to teach in a way that it resonates with them. I find the common ground. I evaluate where each person is, and guide them from there.
