Conscious Career – Day 27

And here’s something Paramahansa Yogananda said that also reinforces this notion:  “First, carefully choose your work. If you have not yet found something that satisfies you, continue to search for it. You must like your vocation if you expect to succeed. Each day try to accomplish something, large or small, that you had always thought you could not accomplish. When you make up your mind to do something, do not give up. Success attained through determination and right action brings you more than material wealth; it gives the joy of accomplishment.”

So the challenge is for you to think of what you can do right now wherever you are on your journey when it’s too wet to plow and you’re waiting for the ground to dry.  What can you do with your time and energy besides waiting for the Universe to deliver what you need and want?  Because you never know what will happen when you take action.  Wattles says that “You cannot foresee the results of even the most trivial act; you do not know the workings of all the forces that have been set moving in your behalf. Much may be depending on your doing some simple act; it may be the very thing which is to open the door of opportunity to very great possibilities. You can never know all the combinations which Supreme Intelligence is making for you in the world of things and of things and of human affairs; your neglect or failure to do some small thing may cause a long delay in getting what you want.”
