Exploring Your Extraordinary Life Day 10

#5:  Living an Extraordinary Life means taking extremely great care of ourselves…our bodies, our minds, our hearts.  When we live the extraordinary, there is space in our lives to do so…

Are you filled up?  Really?  I think most of us in this world have a hard enough time getting our most basic needs met, healthy, nourishing foods, enough sleep, enough quiet, relaxing time, much less take extremelygreat care of ourselves.  When we allow our tank to become empty, it is far too easy to live from our fears.

Let me draw a distinction here, the difference between basic self-care and extreme self-care.  Basic self-care is a reactive state, you let your cup go empty and then you do something to fill it up.  Sometimes we let the cup stay empty for a long time right?  Even years.  Extreme self-care is a proactive state, you constantly refill the cup to keep yourself from ever running dry.

Where do you need to work?  Do you take care of your body well?  Do you exercise?  Eat well?  Do you take time to fully relax and unwind the stresses daily living have on your body?

How about your mind?  Do you feed it with new thoughts?  Do you learn new things?  Do you challenge your intellect?

Spirit?  Do you do things that inspire you? Do you practice service to others?  Giving without any expectation of reward?  Do you spend quiet time daily connecting with your Higher Self?
