Exploring Your Extraordinary Life – Day 6
Exploring Your Extraordinary Life Day 6
By Laura Erdman-Luntz
#2: Living an Extraordinary Life means knowing what we want to do in life…at least the next step. And having a plan to take it. People who live extraordinary lives don’t allow 5 years to pass and not know what happened to them. It is a life of purpose even if that purpose is discovering what your purpose is.
Do you know what you want to do in your life? If not, I bet you can think of one next step you can take to figure it out. You don’t need to know what your gift is and you don’t need to take this to the culmination right now. You just need your next step. As Jack Canfield says: “Every time you take one action, the next action becomes obvious.” Plus, for every step you take, you get energy for the next one! “Each step upward makes me feel stronger and fit for the next step.” -Mohandas K. Gandhi
Now if your excuse is it is too late, which I hear all the time, let me remind you of one of my favorite quotes by the fabulous George Eliot. “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” What makes that quote even more precious to me, is George Eliot, the famous author, was merely the pen name for Marian Evans, a woman who lived in the 1800s who chose to write under a man’s name so she could write more boldly in a time when women weren’t given that opportunity.
