Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 10
Light shades of green, resonating with the colors of young plants, are especially wonderful in this area, even more so in a bedroom or kitchen, two areas of the house where the body is nourished. In ancient China, where the actual compass was used to mark Feng Shui territory, this area of the body and its health was always located in the eastern part of the home and when possible the walls were almost entirely green.
Here’s a little something for your body tonight, just to show it that you care:
Thank you dear body for all the work you did for me today. I am grateful to you for breathing and for my blood circulating, for digesting food and for casting off what we do not need.
As I read this I allow myself to become aware of my breath, of how my muscles are feeling, if I feel limited anywhere in our body or if I feel any pain or discomfort.
Now, I imagine myself getting into bed tonight, getting as comfortable as I can be, feeling myself beginning to relax, knowing that you, my wonderfully hard working body, will be processing this request for us as we sleep.
I know that you would know that we are not always strictly attentive to your needs and I apologize for that. I’d like to do better, listening to you, paying attention to you.
So I give you permission tonight to release whatever might seem right and appropriate to let go of in order to expand my responsiveness to your needs.
