Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 13
Bedrooms with east facing windows are excellent for those who need help getting up in the morning. The energy of the east is a rising energy and lends a kick-start to the day. Those with a night job would do well to avoid a bedroom with east facing widows! The west offers declining energy, usually resonant with good rest, and makes a great spot for most children’s rooms, allowing their energy to come down a little though such a placement may be challenging for the elderly or ill as it is not considered to be as ‘nourishing’ as a rising energy, but for the dying, it is just lovely.
There are many things to consider with regard to directionality and in complex cases, where common sense adjustments don’t seem to do the trick, a consultation is usually warranted. It’s all about energies and the way they interact with each other.
Tonight’s assignment takes you back to your first bedroom again:
As I am reading this, I allow myself to feel gratitude to you, my wonderful body, for everything you do for me every day, breathing, circulating my blood and lymph, allowing the food I eat to nourish me, protecting me.
I notice how you are feeling and give you permission to relax as we read this, allowing these words to deeply penetrate your consciousness.
Now I picture myself asleep in bed tonight, knowing and understanding that you, my beloved body, will take over and put these words into action for me as I am sleeping, that I need to do nothing more than finish reading this.
