Stars are like diamonds in the night sky…of course, save for the moon, what else is there to see in the night sky except for stars? Still, that’s the word we use to describe those people who seem to outshine the rest of us, whose faces – and more! – become everyday icons. Thanks to the writer’s strike in the early 2000’s that forced the hand of television producers to find something for us to watch – anything! please! – thus spawning Reality Shows, the idea that anyone can become a star became – dare I say it – a reality. The fact is, everyone needs at least a little attention, some more than others, and to be recognized, acknowledged as special, almost always feels good.
In life, we see ourselves reflected physically in mirrors and energetically in everyone we meet; the lives we live are reflections of who we are. If you want to know who you are, all you need to do is look around you. That’s why, on the map of the bagua, directly opposite the Entry Wall, in the Life Path area, you find Recognition. It is, in an almost literal sense, in your face: you cannot avoid yourself. ..so what do you see there?
Stroll through your living space and check out what you have hanging or sitting in the very center of the wall opposite the Entry Wall. Reflect a bit on what you see, on what it may be telling you about yourself and, if it seems appropriate, on what might better be in that space.
