Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 18
Much like the images of parents in their children’s rooms, this picture is meant to provide a subliminal reminder of the local source of wisdom…among other things. Men are (generally) more visual creatures than women so the photographs work well to anchor the partner’s image in both the conscious and the subconscious mind.
Why should a man have a picture of his partner and a woman not necessarily? Testosterone. It’s just that simple. Men and women are biologically different and the drive to reproduce is potent enough to throw some men for a loop so a little extra reminder of where his loyalties lie doesn’t hurt.
Important to avoid in the bedroom of a couple are pictures of anyone else. No children, grandchildren, parents, gods, goddesses or angels. Having pictures of your relatives in the room with you is energetically quite close to actually having them in the room with you. Photographs really can, in some sense, capture your soul…they certainly make it available for all the world to see at any rate, making the bedroom a tad more crowded – energetically – than is conducive to an intimate relationship.
If intimate relationships have proved challenging for you and you’d like to address that then you need Sleep Magic to assist you in letting go of whatever is hiding inside you, causing that problem. The following assignment could prove useful and, as with other deeply entrenched issues, may require repetition every seven to ten days or so.
As I am reading this, I allow myself to feel gratitude to you, my wonderful body, for everything you do for me every day, breathing, circulating my blood and lymph, allowing the food I eat to nourish me, protecting me.
