Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 21
I know that you know what our whole life looks like at this moment. This is information that would be very useful to me – to us – in case my attention is needed to assist us in any way.
So to the degree that it is comfortable for you, I give you permission release whatever might seem right and appropriate to let go of in order to allow me to have some waking conscious sense of the wholeness of our life.
You can fill any empty spaces that may be created by expanding the feeling I had when (you realized something important).
I honor you for helping me to help us be all that we can be.
Because the language of the body is feelings (since it doesn’t think) what you can expect to experience and should pay attention to in dreams or when you awake on the morning after you do the assignment are feelings (as opposed to some kind of concrete information) and that’s just fine because feelings are what really matter. Most of us are so led astray by being raised to “think” that we have come to rely almost totally on our minds – and the mind’s constant side-kick, the Ego Process – for decision making, a real mistake because the job of the mind is, essentially, to make lists. The mind catalogues information. That’s what it does, and its good at it but in the hierarchy of your being it’s a functionary, nothing more.
What matters in life is how we feel, if we are content, or peaceful or happy. So if, after doing this assignment you awaken feeling elated, then you can feel justified – confident even – keepin’ on keepin’ on, just the way you are, no matter what that may look like to anyone else. If, on the other hand, you experience angst or sadness or fear, then pay attention because something is not right somewhere in your life. If you have suspicions about what might be amiss, make your own assignments up to get validation from your body, to make sure that you are on the right track. If you have no idea, use an assignment to ask your body to please bring some useful hint or clue to the attention of your waking consciousness. (We’ll explore creating your own assignments on Days 25 and 27.)
