Feng Shui from the Inside, Out – Day 27
The assignments are carefully worded to provide best results and by using the same format over and over again, you allow your body to grow ever more comfortable with the process. If you’ve been doing these assignments for the full month, then your body has already begin to set a pattern in place because in the time the moon has come full circle.
When it comes to #4, the actual request, if you are letting go of something quite specific – like the fear you felt sometime – you can ask your body to release that. If, however, you don’t know what it is that you need to let go of you’ll need to approach it differently. For instance, let’s say that you have a relative that annoys you and you’d really like not to be annoyed by that person. You may think that you know why that person annoys you (and you may be right) but you can’t know for sure that that’s all there is to it, so approaching your body by giving it permission to release whatever it is that you are holding onto that causes that annoyance would be a more effective way to proceed.
The same holds true if something unpleasant happened to you and you want things like that to never happen again. You’ll need to give the body permission to let go of whatever it is inside you that attracted the unpleasant event. And you always want to give the body permission to let go of only what it is comfortable releasing. Your body had its reasons for holding onto whatever it is and they may be very good reasons, so you want to be gentle and proceed slowly.
