Tip-off: Does your body respond differently depending on your mood? Are you holding tension in your body? (Pain, aches, weakness or tightness) If you use meditation or breathing exercises, does your body relax, is there a change in tension? Are you feeling pain? Can you ask others for help? Are negative feelings holding you hostage? What part of your inner being is hurting?
Headaches: Migraines have several different causes from food or chemical sensitivities to emotional issues. Emotional issues could be linked to: fear of failure, issues of control and power, repression of feelings and fear of participation and involvement.
Grounding using essential oils- ylang-ylang, rosewood, lime blossom, water lily
*Caution about using essential oils: Essential oils should not be used on babies and children under 12 years old. During pregnancy their use is limited to only a few “safe” oils which an aroma therapist can recommend.
Crown Chakra Exercises – prayer or meditation.
Yoga asanas: salamba sirhasana (headstand), bakasana (crane pose), salamba sarvangasana 1 (shoulder stand)
Feeding Your Crown Chakra
Opening and Clearing the Spiritual Communication Center
Air: fasting / detoxing
Incense and Smudging Herbs: sage, copal, myrrh, frankincense, and juniper
Incense and smudging herbs are not to be eaten but are inhaled through smudging ceremony
Grounding crystals or stones: celestite, blue sapphire, charoite, clear quartz, amethyst
