Healing & Recovery – Day 17
30 Days to Healing and Recovery Day 17 by Dana Jacoviello
5. Today’s message: When your day is over and you go home, turn off all your technology until tomorrow. Turn off your phone. Close the computers. Put away the kindles. Put away the iPads. Put away the iPods. Turn off the televisions. Do things the old fashioned way. Read an actual book. Read a magazine. Play a board game. Cook for yourself or your family and sit around the table and have face to face conversations without all the normal interruptions. Engage in a hobby you enjoy. Whatever it is that has nothing to do with technology. We have to remember what we did before we had all these inventions. Today’s generation is not learning how to survive or communicate without it. Our social skills are dwindling and lifestyles becoming more and more consumed.
