Week 2: Yoga and Your Mind: The True Nature of the MIND
Our practice today builds on True Listening, and asks you to apply the Art of Experiencing to Yourself.
When through these practices we develop a growing ability to see or watch ourselves in our everyday conversations and observe our thoughts and rising emotions, we arrive at the place where reaction gives way to focused action.
Understanding the nature of mind, and seeing our mind is the only true path to freedom from the MIND. Travel this road using the GPS of Yoga for a more direct journey.
Choosing Positive Energy
In the Introductory article for this week on the True Nature of the MIND, there is emphasis on how negative energy causes stress, and the conundrum that when we feel good the world looks good, but when we feel bad, the world doesn’t’ look so good. Perception is always linked to consciousness, and consciousness is always linked to our condition.
On Day 10, the practice for the day was True Listening. True Listening raises our awareness of how we use our energy, and we begin to notice or become more aware of how our mind works and how and where we lose or leak vital energy. Today’s exercise builds on True Listening and goes a little deeper into how we can work with the mind to build positive energy.
